Temecula Balloon & Wine Festival : By the time we arrived at the festival it was 8pm, just in time to watch the "glow" of balloons to the beat of music. While advertised as the highlight of the evening and the reason we went on Saturday vs Sunday, it turned out to be pretty short and lame. Everyone wound up rushing out of the festival in disappointment. The great company and visiting Pechanga Casino made up for the letdown. I got back home at 3am.

LA Auto Show 2007: Cars : Typically held in January, this event marks the 100 year anniversary of the LA Auto Show. Admission price was only 40 cents then vs $10 now, but the motivation for going hasn't changed much over the years...to find out what's on the horizon from auto makers. Hopefully, many of the concept vehicles shown will trickle down to the consumer market sooner than later.
